​Today, many textile producers are facing various challenges. About half of the world´s waste water problems are linked to the production of textile goods including many of the chemicals used in dyes and fabric finish causing harm to human health. The desire for a conscientious living is leading more and more consumers to choose organic clothes that are made using materials and processes qualities of wellness and goodness of the nature. It´s no longer just what you put in your body that counts, but also what you put on your body. Your skin is the largest and most absorptive organ of your body. What you put on the outside matters. By using various herbs that have medicinal qualities your clothes can affect your health in a good way. Natural dyed items are better for the environment, your skin and is allergy friendly.

All my products are made with it´s natural raw color or dyed from plants, roots, foodwaste or dried flowers among other natural pigments i find in my surroundings.  As the process is entirely natural and hand-crafted, the outcome of the colors produced will vary. This creates a unique look with a new result from every dye bath.

​There are a few challenges and things to know when you choose a natural dyed item.

First thing thing to remember is to not compare it with chemical dyes. It´s alive and the finished product is not complete the moment you make your purchase, it changes with time and i believe that´s the beautiful part of it. With some knowledge and thoughtfulness you will be able to keep your item with the same result for a long time. If your product will come to change and fade after some time, you´re welcome to contact me for a “re-dye” and bring your product new life.

All my dyes are made sure to be colorfast with the proper before and afterwork.
