As a fashion brand, and more importantly a human brand, we feel that is our responsibility to demand more out of the industry we are a part of. Rather than producing large quantities of every design and releasing a constant stream of new products adapted to the fast fashion industries seasonal collections. Our garments are all produced in small batches and we are extremely conscious of the number of new designs that we introduce.

All garments from Anoki are created from natural, biodegradable fabrics that either come from a sustainable and/or organic source and most of our fabrics are handwoven without the need for electricity. We guarantee that we will always stay away from toxic fibers, the damage synthetic fabrics have on the environment is very alarming,

The natural fibers has not been tampered with in any energy or water excessive process and aim to not add any unnecessary substance during the whole process. This saves the workers from being exposed to harmful substances, consumer will not have it in their homes and on there skin, and the environment will not get effected. The textile is bio- degradable and will not end up as landfill or as micro plastic in the ocean. Instead, all garments can be a part of a circular recycle system since we´ve adapted a Conditional Design concept. We believe the journey towards a world of true materiality, where we appreciate and cherish our limited resources starts in the designprocess.

We have a long-term sustainable vision. To create garments already with a plan how to remake, reuse or recycle every part of our items into a circular, no waste process. Step by step we are hoping to create co-creations with other small business and give our customers inspiration and information how to take care of and bring new life to their garments.

We believe the most important step in the whole creating process is the source. To be able to guarantee full transparency of the chain and create garments from fibers and textiles with good quality that are created in a sustainable way. We work with a small manufacturer in north if India, Himachal Pradesh who share the same ethical belief as we do. They are practicing the methods of using and supplying fabrics which are environmental friendly and completely biodegrade to help Mother Nature. Every step of the process from plant to fibers is made without the use of electricity. The fibers are hand weaved into beautiful fabrics.

Together we are paving a way for modern textile to have a more sustainable future.

We work with hemp fabrics that are 100% indigenous, fibers and yarn are sourced from the Uttarakhand region in India. The weaving done locally on hand loom.

We work with organic Kala cotton which is a pure, Old World cotton that is indigenous to the Gujarat region in India. The farmers use no pesticides or chemicals of any kind during the process. It’s also a rain fed crop, which means no additional water is used other than the water supplied by nature itself.

We work with raw linen fabrics. The fibers and yarn is sourced locally in north of india. Hand loomed into beautiful a fabric.

We work with orange fabric that is formed from a silk-like cellulose yarn when used in its purest form, the resulting 100% citrus textile features a soft and silky and lightweight fabric. This exclusive fabric is produced entirely of orange peel as a byproduct that otherwise would be wasted. The orange yarn still contains essential oils and vitamin C. The skin absorbs these oils and is nourished by them. Almost like a wearable body cream.

We are always searching for second hand and vintage textiles remaining it´s good quality. You may often find details or sometimes even the whole product made from upcycled fabrics. We love things that tells a story and to create items that will keep telling stories many years from now!

We believe that even the little things make a difference. Because of this reason we are plastic free. All our labels, tags, info products and orders are sent out in all recycled materials sources from companies that share our environmental values.

And the best part, it can all be recycled again.
None of our packaging is harming the environment or ending up in landfills or

our oceans.
